Wedding Week: The Honeymoon

We actually spent our first night as a married couple in our new home. David’s Aunt and Uncle even got the place ready for us with candles and rose petals and put some delicious food for breakfast in the fridge. It was very thoughtful and romantic.

The next day we slept in, ate good food and opened our wonderful wedding presents.

And then we were off to an all inclusive resort in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

Where we laid on the beach,

got incredibly sunburned the first day {because we forgot sunscreen and David said “we normally live at such a high altitude, we will be fine.”},

went sailing to a beautiful island,

ate Maui Maui straight from the sea,

drank a lot of cokes {that is #5 for the day},

ate even more great food,

and loved every minute of being newlyweds.

Honeymoons should be a yearly occurrence. Amen.
